Eastern Food Therapy is a principle that has been developed over 1,000 years.  It focuses on the basis that every ingredient has an energetic property and can have a warming, cooling, or neutral effect on the body.  Based on your pet’s characteristics, you can determine the recipe best suited for your pet.

Our cooling diets are best suited for pet’s that generally seek cool places, excessively pant, have allergies, and have a tongue red or dark in color.  These pets would benefit from ingredients like rabbit, duck, celery and blueberries to help their body cool down and maintain an optimal body temperature.  On the other hand, if your pet seeks warm places, lacks energy, and has a tongue light in color they would benefit from a warming diet consisting of chicken, pumpkin, and cherries.

The ultimate goal is to restore balance within the body and our neutral diets include a variety of whole food ingredients.  These pets exhibit a happy and energetic demeanor, have a strong stomach, and have a pink tongue.  You can feel comfortable feeding these pets any proteins including beef and bison and vegetation including carrots, green beans, and raspberries.
